infancy

ages 3-5

infants associate things they learn early for the rest of their lives. they start to develop imagination, expression and logical thinking, making it a crucial time for body and mind development.

childhood

ages 5 - 10

children build competencies and confidence in their intellectual, emotional and physical capabilities at this age, it is the formative age for forming friendships, integrating into social groups and start hobbies.

adolescence
ages 10-15

adolescents seek independence, form opinions and thoughts, and integrate morality into their decision making. peers have an increasing influence as they become experimental and experience swings of emotions.

early adulthood

ages 15-20

young adults are developing physically, cognitively and emotionally. they become capable of critically assessing topics relating to politics, spirituality and justice, and comfortable with abstractness, identify and expression.
